Well it should not come as a surprise, but CN has started to dismantle the coal handling equipment at the lower coal yard. Some of the equipment will be saved as spare parts for both the upper facility and the ore yard.
Oddly earlier this spring work was being performed on the upper facility. Track work, and testing of the rotary dumper was completed in May.
